Dear Liberty Parents, Guardians and Students,

In spite of COVID-19, I hope you and your loved ones have been able to enjoy the beautiful summer that we have had.  As we navigate through this pandemic- I realize that patience, flexibility and understanding are vital characteristics as we begin this school year. The hallways here at the Blott/Guy building have been silent for too long; I am anxious and excited to welcome the staff and students back.  Whether it is in person or online, it is my hope to continue working together as a family and ensure that all students feel like they are part of our Liberty Leopard community!

We will embrace the 2020-2021 school year with optimism and hope to make the Liberty learning experience positive, productive and safe. Your child’s education and well being is extremely important to the staff and administration here at Liberty Schools.  We’ll continue to focus on enhancing and strengthening meaningful learning activities for the students regardless of the implemented learning models due to  COVID-19.  It will take all of us working as a team to further the learning of your child during this unprecedented and very unpredictable time.

Acknowledging social and emotional issues is important for growing the whole student and we will have creative and meaningful ways to address the challenges our students may be facing during this time.

Regardless of how your student is experiencing school this nine weeks, it is important to me to keep them safe, prioritize his/her learning and ensure effective teaching and learning daily.

I am anxious and excited to be leading the building through this challenging time and I’m looking forward to achieving great things this year!

Mrs. Kohler
